Birth Boot Camp isn’t a method, but rather consists of evidence-based information and practical skills that will leave you and your partner feeling empowered for your birth. Because Birth Boot Camp understands that every pregnancy, birth, and family is unique, there are a variety of classes from which to choose.

Birth Boot Camp is a professional organization where class content is written, designed, and regularly updated by certified birth professionals – you won’t find any self-authored or biased information here.

No matter which childbirth class you choose, you will have the knowledge you need to make informed decisions, a toolbox of comfort measures and relaxation techniques, options, and the confidence to birth your baby without fear.

the 6 Week Series

This six week class is designed to give you all the information you need to make informed decisions as your home, hospital, or birth center birth unfolds. Learn what happens before, during, and after birth, the physiology of birth, variations of labor, inductions, augmentation, medication options, cesarean births, relaxation techniques, comfort measures, and labor practice.

Life with Your New Baby: Newborn Care

Life With Your New Baby, a four hour workshop, will help you and your partner get off to a great start with your new baby. Topics include breastfeeding, immediate newborn procedures, baby wearing, safe sleep, postpartum expectations, the fourth trimester, and comfort/soothing techniques.

the Express Birth Class

The Express childbirth class is designed for the extra busy couple. Topics covered include the physiology of birth; stages of labor; what to expect during labor; epidurals; induction; cesarean births; coping techniques and comfort measures; and writing a birth plan.

Class time is 7 hours with a one hour lunch break in one day, or split into two separate sessions/weekends.

the Refresher Workshop

This private, in-home, four hour workshop is designed for couples expecting a subsequent baby when previous comprehensive birth classes have been taken. This class is a private class tailored to fit your specific concerns, needs, or desires for your current birth situation.

the Education Bundle

If you’re just looking for childbirth education, newborn care, and breastfeeding, this bundle is for you! You will receive two beautiful workbooks, as well as a goodie bag full of samples, trials, coupons, and other free-bees. This bundle can be taken either as an in-person or hybrid option; however, all Beginnings Birth Center clients are now required to receive education in-person.
