JJ and I immediately felt a connection after working together to support a family through an eventful birth in 2021. Not only did we realize the similarities in our doula styles, attributes, and best business practices, but we also discovered that we share the same degree of commitment and dedication to ensuring our clients receive the highest standards of care. Your birth experience matters, and we aspire to support you through YOUR journey; no personal agendas, biases, or other beliefs—your birth is about you, your family, and supporting you through an enriching and rewarding birth experience.
Because our clients are our highest priority, we have decided to limit our contracted doula clients to 2 per doula per month. This ensures that you receive the best possible care, optimal doula availability, and that your doula is rested and ready for you when the time comes. Additionally, we strongly believe that if a backup doula becomes necessary, you are not meeting her for the first time in labor; that’s why we will both meet you during your pregnancy – no surprises, personality clashes, or unknowns within your birth space.

We also believe that birth unfolds in the way it needs to, but sometimes that means extenuating circumstances can arise. In these situations, we honor and value your investment, and offer partial refunds or other services in compensation.
No birth plan is held above or below another; all birth is unique and beautiful, just as you are. We are sincerely looking forward to meeting you, and serving you and your family as you journey through your pregnancy and birth. We provide unlimited emotional, physical and informational support for you and your family with our Doula Services. Together, we’ve got you covered, no matter how unpredictable the world becomes.

I believe that birth goes beyond just a physical transformation; it is sacred, beautiful, spiritual, and empowering. I also believe in the natural process of birth, that all bodies were created with this wisdom, and that there is a time, place, or desire for every intervention. Within the birth space, I focus on creating a sense of calm and peace through the use of movement, gravity, counter pressure, soft touch, affirmation, the reassurance of safety, and the encouragement of self-advocacy, while maintaining an ideal birthing environment. I also believe that birth partners are essential; I help facilitate his or her desire of involvement, knowing when I’m needed and also knowing when to step away and let you have a sweet moment together.
My heart-driven goal is to be by your side to comfort you, hold you, embrace you, see you, anticipate your needs, ease the intensity of labor, celebrate with you, cry with you. In the hardest of moments, when things seem impossible, to uplift and renew your spirit; to refresh your heart and reclaim the joy of birth. The journey through birth is a path well-traveled. Our path can take us through turns and switchbacks, mountains and valleys, or even short straightaways; it etches into our hearts and leaves us forever changed. There is no one “right path” to birth. This path is our own, but not meant to be traveled alone; it is with sympathy, experience, wisdom, and support that we journey through.
Outside of birth work, my life is built around my family and close friends. My perfect day starts with an early morning on the snowiest of snow days, a cup of hot coffee or tea, snowboarding slope side, then après all day with good food, family and good company, a good book, and the sourest kombucha you can find. I also enjoy writing, yoga, gardening, video gaming, and soccer. I truly can’t wait to meet you! — Jennie
Our Doula Packages
Your investment includes in-home prenatal visits, birth planning assistance, pregnancy and postpartum educational resources and community referrals, doula library access, on call from 38 weeks until 2 weeks postpartum, continuous labor support with two doulas when necessary, and an in-home postpartum visit.
The Premium package is especially for primiparous, VBAC, and clients whose prior birth was medicated; the Essentials package is perfect for experienced clients and those looking for basic doula support.
Please note that a childbirth education class is required for all primiparous doula clients.
